Delete your Oro Money account

This page lets you request deletion of your account in the Oro Money app (Android and iOS), provided by Orocorp Technologies Private Limited.

Two ways to request deletion

In the app

Open the Oro Money app and go to:

Menu→My Profile→Delete your account

I understand that my request will be reviewed, that my account can’t be deleted while I have an active loan or an ongoing visit, and that some records must be kept by law.

What happens next

We check that the mobile number and email match an Oro Money account.
Our support team contacts you on your registered mobile number to confirm it’s you.
Your request is reviewed. If you have an active loan or an ongoing visit, we’ll help you close those first.
Once approved, your account is closed and your data is deleted as described below.

What we delete and what we keep

Deleted

Your profile details, saved addresses, app preferences, photos not needed for your loan records, and app usage data linked to you.

Kept for a legally required period

Loan, KYC and payment records that our lending partners and we must keep under RBI and anti-money-laundering rules: usually for at least 5 years after your account is closed. These are then deleted.

Prefer email?

Write to privacy@orocorp.in from your registered email with your registered mobile number. We’ll follow the same steps.
